Puss In Boots And Kung Fu Panda 2 Trailers Arrive

Dreamworks has released trailers for the two animated flicks Monday, March 7th 2011 | 16:56:01

DreamWorks Animation are obviously feeling generous today, as they've released not one but two trailers over at Apple where you can check them out. The first is a teaser promo trailer for their newest animation, the latest adaptation of the feline adventure Puss in Boots. Director of the awesome Shrek trilogy as well as MadagascarChris Miller has led this one, with Brian Lynch and American Pie screenwriter David H. Steinberg penning the script. You can’t expect much in the way of plot explanations just yet, but the footage provides a quick look of the cunning cat doing what he does best – strutting around town Saturday Night Fever-style wooing the ladies, defeating a bull, fencing, and riding horses. Not your typical domestic kitty to say the least. The feisty feline, who is voiced as usual by Antonio Banderas, is teaming up with Zach Galifianakis’ Humpty Dumpty and Salma Hayek's slinky Kitty, in a portrait of events that led up to Puss’s first meeting with Shrek and his friends in Shrek 2. The busy bees over at DreamWorks have also released the trailer for Jennifer Yuh's Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom, the follow up film to Kung Fu Panda with Guillermo Del Toro (Pan's Labyrinth) on board as executive producer. We've already seen a teaser and the Super Bowl spot, but this trailer gives a little more away. School of Rock star Jack Black is back as the voice of Po and in the trailer we get a sneaky peek at Po and his fellow kung fu masters on their quest to save Kung Fu. They must join forces and race against time to try and stop evil albino peacock Lord Shen (Gary Goldman) from taking over China and destroying the ancient fighting art altogether with his terrifying new weapon. The all star cast including Angelina JolieSeth RogenJackie ChanDavid CrossLucy Liu and Dustin Hoffman is back again, and it looks like we'll learn a little bit about Po's past...

Puss will hit the big screen on December 9th. and the Panda with karate chop his way there for June 17th. In the mean time check out the trailers below and let us know what you think.
