The first trailer for Brad Anderson's horror thriller Vanishing On 7th Street is now online, so take a look.
Starring Hayden Christensen, Thandie Newton, John Leguizamo and Jacob Latimore, the film sees a group of strangers waking up to find their city devoid of human life - everyone has disappeared leaving only discarded clothes and all light sources are slowly dying - so they take refuge together in an old bar.
Christensen plays Luke, a slick TV anchor forced to live by his wits. Leguizamo is Paul, a lonely projectionist working in a multiplex theatre. Newton is a distraught mother whose baby is missing, and Latimore is a shotgun-toting kid waiting for his mother to return.
As you'll see in the trailer, the light sources are key to the story and the strangers are told to 'trust only your own light', which sounds a little odd but may well turn out to be a clever hook.Have a watch and let us know your thoughts.
