The trailer for Submarine, the directional debut from Richard Ayoade, the bespecled The IT Crowd star, who has also worked on music videos for the likes of Super Furry Animals, The Last Shadow Puppets and Vampire Weekend, is finally here. He is about to show what he's made of in the director's chair, and with the film having already showed at Sundance, London Film Festival and Toronto Film Festival to rave reviews, hopes are pretty high ahead of its UK release. The thing looks to be a heartwarming coming of age film, starring Gemma Chan and Paddy Considine, which tells the story of a fifteen year old boy trying to simitaneously lose his virginity and stop the breakdown of his parents' marriage. With music from Arctic Monkeys star Alex Turner and knowing that it has been executive produced by Ben Stiller, not to mention the numerous five star reviews by the press, everyone agrees that it's a definite must see.
