Stephen Dorff To Fight War Of The Gods

Stephen Dorff is the latest actor to join the Greek mythology clash War Of The Gods, directed by The Fall helmer Tarsem Singh.

Dorff, known for mid-level roles in Blade and Public Enemies, joins a cast that features Mickey Rourke, Henry Cavill, Kellan Lutz and Freida Pinto for yet another round of epic battling involving Greek gods and goddesses. This time around, it's the tale of Theseus (Cavill) battling to free his country from the powerful gods, who are not too happy about mankind's behaviour.

Aiding the film's hero on his quest will be master thief Stavros, played by Dorff, whose skills come in handy when facing down the likes of Medusa.

Preparation for battle kicks off this April in Montreal with Universal eyeing a November 2011 release.
