The first pictures from Zack Snyder's first animated film, Legend Of The Guardians, which was retitled from Guardians of Ga'Hoole just this week, are now available online, and you can see them below and visit the USA Today gallery for more information.
The computer animated film is an adaptation of the 14 book bestselling children's series by author Kathryn Lasky and illustrator Richard Cowdry. The film is based on the first three installments: The Capture, The Journey, and The Rescue. It follows a young barn owl named Soren, who is kidnapped by owls of St. Aggie's, where owlets are brainwashed into becoming soldiers. He and his new friends escape to the island of Ga'Hoole to assist its noble, wise owls who fight the army being created by the wicked rulers of St. Aggie's.
Legend Of The Guardians features the vocal talents of Geoffrey Rush, Sam Neill, Hugo Weaving, Helen Mirren, Abbie Cornish, Emilie de Ravin, Ryan Kwanten, Jim Sturgess and David Wenham and many more. It is scheduled for release in the UK on October 15 this year.
