He's done mental (Moon), he's doing serious (Conviction) and now Sam Rockwell is looking to move back to doing some funny with a role alongside Jonah Hill in The Sitter.
The 20th Century Fox comedy basically sounds a bit like a dirtier Adventures in Babysitting, where Hill will play manny for the night to three naughty kids (played by Max Records, Kevin Hernandez and Landry Bender) which ends up with them blazing a trail through New York City when he agrees to score some drugs for a girl he fancies.
Rockwell is rocking up as one of a pair of villainous drug dealers alongside Curb Your Enthusiasm's J.B. Smoove. Rockwell's Conviction co-star Ari Graynor- herself no stranger to a late night adventure through NYC (see Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist) - plays the girl Jonah's college dropout is desperate to impress.
Pineapple Express' David Gordon Green is set to direct the caper based on Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka's 2009 Black Listed (that's the screenwriting hot list to you and I) script.
