Last we heard Christopher Nolan was at the forefront of a list of potential directors that included Michael Bay, Alfonso Cuaron, Rupert Wyatt and David Yates to helm a new big-screen version of the Rod Serling classic series The Twilight Zone.
But it seems despite plenty of rumours to the contrary, Warner Bros. have tapped Cloverfield and Let Me In director Matt Reeves to directed the film based on a script by Jason Rothenberg. Deadline says that Rothenberg's script is "a big science fiction action movie with a single freestanding story that is linked to the original series mainly in that it shares that familiarly eerie feel."
Expect production to start next summer...
