Though he has often been the subject of ridicule, and his last films The Happening and The Last Airbender were mocked, M. Night Shyamalan wont let it get him down and is working on a new project One Thousand A.E.
As usual frim Shyamalan projects they are shrouded in mystery and nothing has been revealled plot-wise but Heat Vision Blog has revealed that Jaden Smith is being considered for the role, having impressed critics with his performance in The Pursuit of Happyness opposite real-life father Will Smith and his first leading role in this year’s The Karate Kid.
The project he was working on previously with Bruce Willis, Bradley Cooper and Gwyneth Paltrow loosely attached to star, failed to attract investment and was shelved. But interestingly, Shyamalan - who more often than not writes, directs and produces his movies - will not be penning the script for One Thousand A.E. but will instead be using Book of Eli scribe Gary Whitta's screenplay.
What do you think? Has Shyamalan made the right choice not to write his next project after the critical failure of his last few films?
