Kirsten Dunst In Lars Von Trier Movie
Star takes on role that Penelope Cruz turned down

Former teen queen Kirsten Dunst has been cast in the new Lars von Trier movie, Melancholia, which starts filming in the summer. Von Trier's last flick was the controversial Antichrist, which caused outrage amongst many audiences.
In fact, Charlotte Gainsbourg, who won the Best Actress award at last year's Cannes festival for pushing the boundaries of decency in Antichrist, is also set to star in Melancholia, so if Dunst is at all nervous about what von Trier has in store for her, she could always seek advice from her seasoned co-star.
The Spider-Man actress replaces Penélope Cruz in the psychological disaster movie, the latter sailing off for the fourth Pirates Of The Caribbean film, and seems to be doing pretty well at the moment, with Upside Down, the short film she directed and co-wrote, being accepted into Cannes.
