James Franco shows a couple of pretty climbers his cave pool in Danny Boyle's upcoming self-amputation flick

You've heard the buzz, you've seen the teaser, now CinemaBlend have been given the distinct honour of launching the first clip from Danny Boyle's latest, 127 Hours.
Expectations were always going to be high for Boyle's follow up to the immensely popular award laden Slumdog Millionaire and, if the early hype is to be believed, the Englishman's real-life story of Aron Ralston , a young outdoorsman who got trapped under a boulder in a remote canyon and had to hack off his own arm with a pocket knife to escape, more than lives up to audience hopes.
James Franco plays Ralston and occupies the screen for most of the film's gripping (and seizure enducing, if reports of the film's premiere at Telluride are to be believed) 94 minutes in what has been described as a tour de force that sets him up for an obvious Oscar nod... that said, this first clip shows our hero in happier times before he got trapped when he encourages a couple of lady daytrippers to take a dip in a cave pool.
If you're as excited to see this as we are head over to the BFI's London Film Festival site to see how you can enter the ballot for
tickets to the UK premiere on closing night at the end of October.
