Danny Boyle's 127 Hours Trailer Goes Live
James Franco is trapped...
Wednesday, August 25th 2010 | 13:10:06
The teaser trailer for Danny Boyle's 127 Hours has been released, just after it was announced that it would close the 54th BFI London Film Festival this October.
Starring James Franco, it tells the true story of Aron Ralston, a lone hiker who was trapped in an isolated canyon in Utah after a boulder fell on his arm. He stayed like that for 5 days until he eventually amputated his arm to free himself. As if that wasn't courageous enough, he then climbed a 65 feet high wall and walked for over 8 miles before being rescued.
The teaser trailer doesn't show any of the 5 day struggle that ensues after the accident, but instead skips through the scenes leading up to that point, but nevertheless we're intrigued.
Boyle's last film was Slumdog Millionaire, the film that took the cinema world by storm, so he'll want to uphold his great reputation with another hit. Have a look for yourself to decide whether this one is worth a watch.
