After all his taunting tweets yesterday, Iron Man director Jon Favreau has finally revealed the new teaser trailer for his latest action adventure Cowboys & Aliens.
It begins with a bewildered Daniel Craig waking up in the Arizona desert in the days of the old west with little memory of how he got there with only a strange metal gadget attached to his wrist as a clue. Strolling into town in typical cowboy fashion, he realises that everyone seems to know him even though he doesn't remember any of them. Then aliens attack! Harrison Ford plays a tough-as-nails colonel who teams up with Craig, forming a team you wouldn’t want to mess with.
There are some intriguing moments in the trailer provoking many unanswered questions and leaving us thirsty for more. It looks like a fun summer adventure with some nice genre merging and is due to be released on the 12th August 2011 and, at this point, looks certain to repeat the success of Fav's last breakout blockbuster, Iron Man.
