It’s into the darkness again for Ciarán Hinds, having signed up to deal with evil themes in The Woman in Black he has now made a commitment to play the devil himself in Ghost Rider : Spirit of Vengeance.
Empire Online reveals that the new Ghost Rider film will find Nicolas Cage as Jonny Blaze hiding from both the public and his curse in an obscure corner of Eastern Europe. However it’s not long before he is asked for help by a sect trying to stop the devil (that’d be Hinds) from taking over the body of an innocent mortal child. It might be easy to turn down such a request if it was merely an innocent young boy, but the child also happens to be Jonny’s son…
David Goyer is behind the original concept with the Crank duo Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor working their dark magic on the script. We’re hoping they’ll create something a tad better than the first Ghost Rider.
