Christina Hendricks Is Driving Us Mad

Nicolas Winding Refn has added another tantalising name to the list of actors signed up for the new thriller Drive, adapted from the crime novel by Hossein Amini. Variety informs us that Christina Hendricks has confirmed for the film, there's no news yet on which part the Mad Men star will play but she'll be joining a cast which so far includes the talented likes of Ryan Gosling, Bryan Cranston, Albert Brooks and Carey Mulligan.

Drive follows a professional stunt driver (Gosling) who has a darker side-life as a getaway driver for Los Angeles bank robbers. However it's his decision to help out the boyfriend of neighbour (Carey Mulligan) that gets him into serious danger and forces him to go on the run.

Filming starts in LA in a couple of weeks so we should soon know the part Hendricks is pinned for, maybe she's got some stunt driving skills hidden away for the chase scenes...? Whatever happens, we're excited to see her on the big screen.
