Khatta Meetha

Sachin dreams of becoming the best road contractor in the whole of the region. However, due to a lack of money and in part honesty he is not very successful in comparison to his brother, another road contractor who is more adept at bribing the officials in the municipal office and so is richer because of his corruption. Life becomes even more difficult for Sachin when the new commissioner of the municipal office is an ex-girlfiend who dislikes him strongly, something that is deeply distressing to his loyal workers who are never paid on time. Sachin decides to fight this corruption and embarks on a long journey that almost always ends in hilarious disaster, and ultimately leads him having to make tough decisions between honesty and loyalty, all the while maintaining his zest for life and humour.
